Y water

I have seen this "Y Water" for kids around for a while now. I'm afraid to drink it because I really don't think they will taste that good, but I really like the design. James said it's "such an odd inefficient shape" lol. I really like the little sayings on them too.
The label said "Because other water doesn't have magical powers, but these kind of do, Y not?".
There are different kinds of flavored. Some are good for your brain, while others for your bones, etc. The one in the picture has calcium, so it said "Because you don't want your skeleton walking out on you, y not?" XD.

Disney Halloween

Disneyland always have a special event during Halloween. I have always wanted to see the Nightmare before Christmas themed Haunted House, so at the last minute, I decided to go spend my day at Disneyland. Well, I had to finish work first >_<. I got there late afternoon and bought their annual pass. (This means I will be going there more often if I'm not too lazy.) I'm glad I got the annual pass, so I can take my time strolling around, relaxing rather than rush for all the rides. The decoration was really nice, although they only decorated a few areas such as the Main Street.

At a shop in the Main street, they usually have an artist drawing something. Today, it happened to be the artist who is drawing watch face plates.

Ohh I went on Pirates of the Carribean ride (which has always been my favorite ride since it's so relaxing and with short lines). They added Johnny Depp animatronics. They were really well done. I loved it! The Haunted Mansion was full of Jack Skellington's touch. Fsc would have loved it :).

Le Bat Rouge has super cool decor. Now that I'm totally Pumpkined out, I can finally go home. XD

Sukiyaki

It started when Pailin said "gin arai?" which just means "What should we eat?". Then I was like "OMG!! I want Sukiyaki!". It's because that phrase is a very catchy phrase that came from a famous commercial in Thailand for MK Sukiyaki restaurant. It was around 7:00pm. We were driving back to So Cal from San Jose. I'm having a horrible craving for Sukiyaki because of Pailin. We, then, hurried to a Korean Market on our way home to get as much ingredients as possible. Unfortunately, I really wanted the super famous MK suki sauce which we couldn't get in the US. What we needed were some Thai ingredients. I'm pretty sure that my mom can emulate that sauce. She's such an amazing chef! She can make anything! Sooo... I called my mom (who happens to own a thai market) hoping that she can bring back some other ingredients.

"Mom! Are you at the market?"
"No"
"What do you mean, no??? , Go break into your own market now and get me the stuff!!!!"

XD... in the end, she did get me the stuff, and we had a very wonderful dinner. My mom made awesome Sukiyaki sauce. I think it might have been even better than the real MK sauce. :D~~~

Smoke House

Palin and I went to have breakfast with our dad and Uncle Hershey. "Smoke House" in burbank has a great Breakfast Buffet on Sundays! I think I'm addicted to their Waffles.

Manju, Bing Su, and More

Stocking up on things before we head back to So Cal.~ First stop is ShuieDo's Manju!
Then Mitsuwa's Junk Food Galore! BTW, we were all crazy about "Cha Seng Won"'s Greentea Bingsu. I think it's one of the thing that I will miss most from the area. We had the Shaved Ice there almost everyday! lol

On the Road again.

Clover Bakery

Clover Bakery is a popular place. A lot of my friends seem to really like this place. I think it's cute, but I personally don't like the taste of the bread here that much. The bakeries in Japan are much much better :). I like how they try to be creative here though. Too bad the quality isn't that good. Untasty spaghetti on a cheap hot dog bun doesn't really make me want to buy one. Still, it IS a cute place.

Sculpture Class

I wanted to learn how to sculpt so I took up a sculpture class at LAAFA. I was debating between a 3D class or a sculpture class, and decided to go for sculpture because I think I stare at the computer way too much nowadays. In the end, if I like to sculpt, yay! If not, it can only help me with drawing right? Wow, Sculpturing is soooo tiring! I swear I wake up with muscle soreness the day after each class every week!

David is a great teacher. He is very meticulous. I love the fact that he always try to say the nicest things. I remember during my first class, he was staring at my piece and said "Hmm.. Hmm... how should I say it? .. Um.. Your observation skill is very weak." (Hahaha.. nice way of saying "you suck! Look at the model carefully dammit!") xD. After that, I tried EXTRA hard to observe, but I think my observation skill was still weak T_T.

10 weeks flew by so quickly. People in class were so nice, and I made a lot of new friends. I was the only newbie in the class. Everyone else has taken sculptures before. They were all amazing. I didn't even get close to finishing, but I learned a lot, and that's what matters I guess :).

Urgh...

Bleh... maybe I will finish it later. It's not looking pretty at the moment though -_-;
I think I'm getting sick. It must have been from all those children on the field trip to the Getty's yesterday. I saw FIVE school buses! Those little germs bags! It was also raining.
My immune system sucks~

Bernini at the Getty's

My sculpture teacher at LAAFA was kind enough to gather his students for a little field trip to the Getty's Museum. Afsaneh, Pete, and I decided to carpool to the museum. Too bad they didn't allow any photos to be taken. I was sooo tempted *itchy hands* especially because they were Bernini's Portrait sculptures. Most of the works displayed were done when he was in his twenties, and they were phenomenal. How can someone do something like that out of marbles at 25 years of age??? I love Bernini's works, so it was very exciting for me. The trip was fun, and I met a lot of other sculptors that were friends of Pete and Afsaneh.

Oooh and I learned something about the beautiful sculpture which was one of the main attraction. Costanza Bonarelli was his assistant's wife, which was also Bernini's mistress, and Bernini's brother's mistress as well. O_O Scandalous!!! lol

Coco is Sexy

I don't want my Blog to turn into a Cat Blog lol, but this is one of the best Coco's picture, so I couldn't resist. He has really pretty eyes <3. Anyways, he's doing much better now. I still have to give him Blood Pressure medication and Sub-Q fluid daily. Other than that, he seems healthy. His blood pressure stabilized. He gained 1 lb! I'm so happy :)

Roomba

I finally gave in and got a Roomba. I'm not that into robots, but I like Wall-E, R2D2, and Roomba. They all make these cute little Beepity-Beep noise. Now my floor is super clean! Mewmew seems to like it too :p.
