Greg just sent me link to a video interview of his daughter, Eve. She was interviewed while shopping at the flea market by WhoWhatWear Blog.

Christopher Elbow Chocolate
There is a fancy chocolate store next to Paulette Macarons in SF called Christopher Elbow. They are sooo good. The shell snaps and the inside is smooth, soft, and not too sweet. They look like little gems and are super pretty. I love their Maple Walnut, Orange Pekoe, Macadamia Praline, Spiced Pear, and Salted Caramel. My mom got me a box :D

Emmy Award and UN Passport

I went to visit my uncle Tony and aunt Gina in Santa Monica. My uncle just won another Emmy! Look it's all glowing and shiny *_*. He has so many Emmy awards and Golden Globe awards now. This one is for an HBO mini series, The Pacific. Then we went to have cake at Sweet Lady Jane. My aunt and uncle are so cute, aren't they?

Then I went to visit my grandparents in Hollywood. My grandfather worked for the United Nation, so he traveled everywhere. Look at how thick his passport is! He actually has to carry that stack with him whenever he flies.

I love my family. Everyone is so accomplished and lived such an interesting and fulfilling lives.

Disney Halloween 2010

Last time I took my mom to Disneyland, it was a disaster. She tripped over the train track and sprained her ankle. All the shows were cancelled (even the fireworks), and they ran out of food at the restaurant, so she got the last bits and pieces they had left. This time, James wanted to come too. He hasn't been to the Halloween event. To me, I think the Halloween event is my favorite. The decoration is really cool and fun, and the haunted house is Nightmare Before Christmas Theme. The only thing that's not so good is probably the parade. Christmas parade is definitely a lot more elaborate. Everything went well this time, other than the dead escalator to the 6th floor of the parking lot. My mom wasn't too thrilled about walking all the way up.

I got a really cool looking Jack Skellington balloon :D

Wagashi @ Minamoto Kitchaon
Living in California is nice. It seems like we have access to anything even the rare tasty treats from other countries. There are asian markets everywhere, and you can find pretty much every ingredients/food. Recently, I discovered Minamoto Kitchaon. I've heard of them before. I just didn't think that they'd be inside Mitsuwa market in San Jose :p. They have a shop at the entrance of the market, and they carry many beautiful looking Wagashi (Traditional Japanese Sweets). I bought a Yuzu Rabbit one and Chocolate Mochi. Yummy!
